STEPUP.WORK​ is creating a family of products
​that use these patterns to help users:

  • Understand the optimal balance of doing and learning at this current moment in their career, so they can gauge how much time and effort they should allocate to learning
  • Identify the specific knowledge and skills which would be of most immediate use in their professional career development
  • Identify opportunities to do this needed learning most efficiently and effectively
  • Learn from their efforts to take advantage of these learning opportunities (including learning from their own reluctance and unwillingness to take action at some times)
  • Find the quickest and most efficient way to acquire this high-value knowledge and skills, including: 
    1. Opportunities for learning by doing (with specific, concise guidance provided for each “ just do it” action learning opportunity)
    2. Personal reflection
    3. Brief information summaries, which can help users access and use knowledge they gained in the past but have not used recently, as well as expose users to new knowledge

Meet the Team


To fulfill its mission, STEPUP.WORK helps aspiring professionals improve their career satisfaction and be successful in the workplace through a creative combination of an interactive, mentoring program and online training courses. These allow users to make significant discoveries by leveraging opportunities in their workplace to learn and to practice techniques that remove the obstacles that get in the way of their success.

​In addition, STEPUP.WORK also helps you get to carefully chosen external providers of information, training courses, and live mentoring services.

The developers of STEPUP.WORK are senior professionals with years of experience in providing mentoring to developing professionals--both in the context of successful corporate internal mentoring programs--and, as professional society peer mentors.  Their extensive workplace mentoring experience resulted in the identification of "patterns" of behaviors that lead to professional growth and career advancement.
